Ryan Luo is an IT Project Manager currently employed at NuVasive, a medical device company that specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery.

Despite holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Ryan has extensive experience in project management and technology. In the 2 years he has been at NuVasive, he has focused on key IT Infrastructure Projects, working closely with Sr. Managers and Directors, utilizing the Waterfall and Scrum Methodology.

In addition, while at University, he was President of SB Hacks, a 36 hour overnight university event that brought in 300+ university students all across California to develop solutions through programming. As President, he managed 4 teams, Logistics, Sponsorships, Technology, and Marketing. Outside of work, he enjoys working on film scripts, playing basketball, and tinkering with his PC.

Currently at NuVasive, Ryan continues to dedicate his efforts towards Infrastructure projects but is now taking on Process Improvement dedicated towards improving processes in the entire IT Organization.
