Blog Updates
Do you ever feel like you work so hard that you don’t have any fun? Finding fun in your everyday life, even searching for a new career, can be achieved.
Through the efforts of Dr. Michael Rucker, you too can find fun in your life.
One way he suggests to incorporate more fun is to reframe tasks that are not traditionally fun into something that you consider more fun. For instance, simply approaching a situation with the attitude “I am going to have fun with this” vs. “this really isn’t going to be fun” can make all the difference.
Most of us stay in a job/career longer than we should. Fast Company wrote an article on this. They talk about various ways to evaluate yourself and your future.
One of the best suggestions, in my view, is to set a time each year where you will examine your career and determine if it is going in the direction and at the pace that you want. Don’t wait until you are dissatisfied to begin your evaluation.
Read the story and it can begin your own evaluation process.
Here we are again. I would love to help you get the answers you need in your career change process. Please feel free to contact me with your questions or comments. Mention that you question comes from our newsletter section and I will place the response in this section for all of our readers.
