Coca-Cola: Happiness Machine (2010)

Janine Perri of Hearst Bay Area published an article in early 2020 that listed the Top 20 Marketing Videos of All Time. I picked #2 from her list to show you here. It is a video put together by Coca-Cola.

It shows a Coke machine that was placed on a college campus. It was a special machine that dispensed to students a variety of fun surprises ranging from flowers to pizza.

Interestingly, the video is taken by hidden cameras that show the reactions of the students. It provided so much fun to all there.

It is not long at all at just 2:03 minutes.

Mid-Career Burnout Is Real

Paul Ollinger wrote a great article on what to do when your professional career becomes a grind.

Even for those who earn a substantial income at a certain time in life the daily work and longer hours sure add up. One starts to think about a way to change that.

Some even think “What am I doing with my life?” It is considered mid-career burnout. Today most of us have to put in the hours to earn income each day. So they have to spend time.

He states that half of the top 1% of earning households include one person who works more than 50 hours per week. The extra hours mean that additional sleep, exercise, or time with spouses and children are reduced.

See what else he has to say in the fine article.
